Most teams post their game notes 1 to 2 days before a game, with the exception of weekends. I get the assignments from those releases.

ESPN, Fox, and Pac-12 all list their announcing assignments either through press releases, which I get by e-mail, or online. NBCSN does the same for weekends on Friday online. Then you have the teams producing their own ESPN3 games, which use the same announcers more than 90% of the time.

Most of the time the press representative listed in the press release will tell you the information if you state why you are asking for it. And then there are specific individuals you can ask through Twitter that will provide the information.

There's also specific teams that are assigned to do games. For example Jason Knapp & Chris Spatola are doing all CBSSN Patriot League games, Jason Knapp & Emmett Davis are doing all Patriot League ASN games, Dave Armstrong & Kevin Lehman are doing all HLN ASN games. Darren Goldwater & Dean Keener are doing all Big South ESPN3 & ASN games, unless they occur on the same day. I could keep going on, but I think that illustrates the point.

There are also specific conferences that will post the info in their weekly release. It's all just a matter of looking for the patterns in advance.bigddan11https://www.blogger.com/profile/06659463049411411918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5475340785301281994.post-29683404928401299942015-02-05T20:25:40.168-06:002015-02-05T20:25:40.168-06:00Dan, thanks for your great work.
