NASCAR Sprint Cup Season Finale in Miami Live on ESPN

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season comes to a close Sunday, Nov. 17, with the Ford Ecoboost 400 at Florida’s Homestead-Miami Speedway and ESPN will have a live telecast of the race. A special two-hour NASCAR Countdown airs at 1 p.m. ET to set up the title battle between Jimmie Johnson and Matt Kenseth, while the green flag will fly at 3:15 p.m. for the final race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Also from the 1.5-mile Homestead track, ESPN2 will televise NASCAR Sprint Cup qualifying on Friday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m. and practice earlier that day at 1:30 p.m.

ESPN will also have a live telecast of Saturday’s Ford Ecoboost 300, the season finale for the NASCAR Nationwide Series. NASCAR Countdown airs at 4 p.m. with the green flag at 4:46 p.m.

All NASCAR programming on ESPN and ESPN2 is also available on computers, smartphones and tablets through WatchESPN and the WatchESPN app.

NASCAR Now Special from Contenders News Conference

ESPN’s NASCAR news and information program NASCAR Now will have a special one-hour program originating from the NASCAR Championship Contenders News Conference at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Thursday, Nov. 14 at noon ET on ESPNEWS. NASCAR Nowlead reporter Marty Smith and analyst Brad Daugherty will host the program. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 12-13, ESPN will have reporters Ryan McGee (Jimmie Johnson) andShannon Spake (Matt Kenseth) embedded with the two championship-contending race teams with reports airing all day on SportsCenter as well as on NASCAR Now. The Ford Ecoboost 400 will be reviewed in the NASCAR Now episode airing Sunday night, Nov. 17, at 11 p.m. Host Chris Cotter will be joined in the studio by ESPN NASCAR analyst Ricky Cravenwith Smith reporting from the track. Lucas Oil Drag Racing Season Finale on ESPN2

The NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season is over but drag racing fans have one more chance to watch some racing action when ESPN2 airs highlights from the season finale of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series on Sunday night, Nov. 17, at 10 p.m. ET. The one-hour program will include competition from the season-ending event at Pomona, Calif.

TODAY: On Friday, Nov. 15, TODAY will present an interview with British Formula One driver, 2008 Formula One World Champion, and 2011 U.S. Grand Prix winner Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton, who drives for Mercedes, will drive NBC News correspondent Gabe Gutierrez around the Circuit of the America’s track in Austin, Texas, and show Gutierrez what it’s like to race in an F1 Grand Prix.

JAY LENO’S GARAGE: On Friday, Nov. 15, JayLenosGarage.com will feature a special segment on the F1 U.S. Grand Prix. Leno, the host of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and one of America’s most popular car enthusiasts, had a chance to visit Circuit of the America’s track in October and take a lap around the course in an McLaren MP4-12C. The segment also features interviews with British Formula One driver, Oliver Turvey, and Circuit of the America’s designer, Christian Epp.

The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup is down to two races remaining and the Chase moves to the 1-mile Phoenix International Raceway this weekend for a 500-kilometer race on Sunday, Nov. 10. ESPN will have a live telecast with NASCAR Countdown at 2 p.m. ET and the race’s green flag at 3:15 p.m., with the telecast presented by Quicken Loans. The NASCAR Nationwide Series also races at PIR on Saturday, Nov. 9. Global Rallycross Season Finale in Las Vegas on ESPN2
The 2013 season for the Global Rallycross Championship comes to an end on Thursday, Nov. 7, in Las Vegas and ESPN2 will televise the race at 7 p.m. ET. RallyCross combines the best aspects of circuit racing, off-road racing and rally competition to deliver intense action in a variety of fan-friendly environments. Fans can expect to see door-to-door racing on a combination of dirt and asphalt surfaces, featuring drifting turns, jumps and water elements. The Las Vegas circuit is set up on the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Only three races remain in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and the Chase moves to the 1.5-mile Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth this weekend for a 500-mile race on Sunday, Nov. 3. ESPN will have a live telecast with NASCAR Countdown at 2 p.m. ET and the race’s green flag at 3:16 p.m. ESPN2 will televise NASCAR Sprint Cup qualifying on Friday, Nov. 1, at 4:30 p.m. After two weeks off, the NASCAR Nationwide Series returns to action with a 300-mile race at TMS on Saturday, Nov. 2. Qualifying for United States, Abu Dhabi and Brazil Formula One Grand Prixes Will Air Live on CNBC

Coverage Starts This Saturday at 9 a.m. ET with Qualifying of Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

STAMFORD, Conn. – October 30, 2013 –NBC Sports Group will present qualifying for three November Formula One Grand Prixes on NBCUniversal’s CNBC, the leading global brand in business news and analysis distributed to over 100 million U.S. households. Qualifying coverage for the Abu Dhabi, United States, and Brazilian Grand Prixes had not yet been announced.

Live qualifying coverage begins this Saturday, Nov. 2 at 9 a.m. ET on CNBC from the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Qualifying coverage continues on CNBC on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. ET for the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas. Live Formula One coverage on CNBC concludes Saturday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. ET with the Brazilian Grand Prix qualifying.

STAMFORD, Conn. – October 31, 2013 – Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) will look to earn his seventh straight victory on Sunday at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. NBC Sports Group will also present live coverage of qualifying on CNBC on Saturday at 9 a.m. ET. Coverage of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix begins with practice on Friday at 9 a.m. ET.

Vettel clinched his fourth consecutive F1 World Championship with a victory at the Indian Grand Prix last weekend, his sixth straight win and 10^th overall this season. Vettel, 26, is now tied withAlain Prost (4) and trails only Juan Manuel Fangio (5) and Michael Schumacher (7) for the most career F1 World Championships. Kimi Raikkonen (Lotus) took the checkered flag at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last season, where Vettel earned back-to-back victories in 2009 and 2010. A win this week would tie Vettel with Schumacher (7) for the second most consecutive wins in F1 history behind Alberto Ascari’s nine straight victories between 1952-1953.

Live coverage of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix begins with practice on Friday at 9 a.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by qualifying on CNBC on Saturday at 9 a.m. ET. Live race coverage of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix begins on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. F1 Extra, NBC Sports Group’s half-hour post-race show, will air immediately following the conclusion of NBCSN’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix coverage.

Prior to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, NBCSN will air Vettel/Andretti: One-on-One, a half-hour special hosted by F1 insider Will Buxton featuring in-depth interviews with Vettel and American F1 racing champion Mario Andretti. Topics include Vettel’s drive for his fourth consecutive F1 title, and the upcoming United States Grand Prix on Nov. 16.
