2017 Congressional Baseball Game for Charity to be televised on C-SPAN, streamed on Facebook Live

Tonight is the annual Congressional Baseball Game for Charity. This years game is making bigger waves than usual after yesterday's shootings. However this has led to a first.

Tonight's Congressional Baseball Game for Charity will be televised LIVE on C-SPAN. It will also be streamed LIVE on Facebook Live.

A lot of things had to occur to make this happen because C-SPAN doesn't have the cameras that could do it. As a result Major League Baseball will be providing all the cameras and video staff to air the game. The Nationals are providing all the accommodations (stadium use, public address announcer, ticket sales, etc.).

If you'd like to listen to the game, FederalNewsRadio.com will carry the action. The Hill will provide the broadcast team for Facebook while Federal News Radio will do the same for C-SPAN.

So there you have it. Now we can watch politicians fight in a friendly environment all for charity. The Congressional Baseball game for Charity will begin its broadcast this evening at 7:05 PM.

UPDATE:

BROADCAST TEAMS WERE

C-SPAN/Federal News Radio: George Wallace, Dave McConnell, Noah Frank

The Hill/Facebook/Twitter: Sylvan Lane, Timothy Cama, Justin Redman, Taylor Lorenz
