This year’s postseason comes with a new four-round, 12-team format. The playoffs will begin with three single-elimination rounds. The top two seeds in each conference receive a bye to the second round. Below is the breakdown.
1st Round: 3 vs. 6 and 4 vs. 5 in the first round for each conference
Quarterfinals/Conference Semifinals: 1 vs. 4/5 and 2 vs. 3/6
Semifinals/Conference Finals: Winners of the second round
G League Finals: The conference finals winners in a best-of-3 series
