For years the NCAA D2 Championship has taken place during the Saturday of Elite 8 matches. The D3 Championship has usually taken place even before that. This year the NCAA has decided to change that. The Sunday inbetween the Final 4 and the men's national championship is now the home of the NCAA D2 and NCAA D3 men's championships. Instead of being played on campus sites, both the championships will take place at Philips Arena (The home arena of the Hawks) in Atlanta, Georgia, right next door to where the Final 4 and the men's basketball championship are taking place.
As in years past, the NCAA D2 Championship will be broadcast no CBS. This year they get the bonus of the Dial Global NCAA Radio Network also picking up the broadcast. The D3 Championship meanwhile will be shown on CBS Sports Network. Here's all the information you'll need.
