Hustle Award: Broadcaster Matt Millen called Central Michigan/Penn State on Saturday for BTN and Sunday called Saints/Panthers for Fox Sports. He still remains one of the best analysts in the business. Millen received a heart transplant in 2018.

Best debut: Broadcaster Patrick Netherton called Northwestern/Lamar on Saturday. Netherton was sensational on the call. The enthusiasm and joy to hear his call on the game was a pleasure. Netherton is a rising star.

Best line: Fox Sports Tim Brando, on Washington State QB Cameron Ward, “You are watching a star being born on National television, Cameron Ward!  Don’t tell me the don’t play great football in the Southland Conference. This is a play that you see on Sundays by the best in the business”. Cameron Ward previously played for 2 years at UIW, a Southland Conference school.
