Nationwide and NHRA fill up the June 28-30 weekend of Motorsports on ESPN

The Nationwide series heads to Friday night this week at Kentucky Speedway, named for its truthful location of being near Cincinnati, Ohio. Who knew that Kentucky and Cincinnati were so close t each other? The coverage concludes on Sunday with tape delayed coverage of the NHRA Chicagoland Action, which will be shown live again on ESPN3. NASCAR Nationwide Series in Prime Time Friday Night
The NASCAR Nationwide Series races in prime time on Friday night, June 28, at Kentucky Speedway near Cincinnati and ESPN will have a live telecast. NASCAR Countdown airs at 7 p.m. ET with the race’s green flag at 7:46 p.m. All NASCAR programming on ESPN networks is also available on computers, smartphones and tablets through WatchESPN and the WatchESPN app.

NHRA Chicagoland Action on ESPN2, ESPN3 
The NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series competes in the Chicago area this weekend at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Ill., in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 NHRA Nationals. Drag racing fans can watch qualifying and eliminations on both ESPN2 and ESPN3. All NHRA programming on ESPN networks is also available on computers, smartphones and tablets through WatchESPN and the WatchESPN app. The schedule:

NASCAR Now Schedule
ESPN2’s daily NASCAR news and information program NASCAR Now will preview the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway in the one-hour edition airing Saturday, June 29, at noon ET. Studio host Marty Reid will be joined from the track by ESPN NASCAR analystAndy Petree with reporters Ryan McGee and Jim Noble at the track.
