For those wanting to know where things stand:

FOR RELEGATION:
1) Hannover 96 has been relegated for the 2016-17 season.

2) If Stuttgart loses, they will be relegated for 2016-17.

3) If Stuttgart wins and Werder Bremen loses, then Werder Bremen will be relegated. Stuttgart would then be in the playoff match.

4) If Stuttgart wins and Werder Bremen gets a draw, then goal differential will decide if Stuttgart or Werder Bremen gets relegated. The other would be in the playoff match.

5) If Stuttgart wins and Werder Bremen wins, then goal differential will decide if Stuttgart or Eintracht Frankfurt gets relegated. The other would be in the playoff match.

FOR PROMOTION:
1) Both SC Freiburg and RB Lepizig have been promoted for the 2016-17 season.

2) Nürnberg has clinched the playoff spot and will face either Stuttgart, Werder Bremen, or Eintracht Frankfurt for the right to be promoted.
