Compass Media Networks has become the second group to release their 2012 college football broadcasting schedule. We're still waiting for news from ESPN Radio, Dial Global Sports, and Touchdown Radio Productions. In this case though, Compass Media Networks will produce 16 broadcasts for the 2012 season. Coverage will begin on Saturday, September 1 and will end with the Big Ten Championship on Saturday, December 1. There will be two weeks of double headers, and yes, Compass Media will spend one of their weeks covering the USC Trojans. With the 2 games Sports USA has and the 6 that ESPN Radio has, USC will now have 9 of their 12 games on national radio, and if they make the Pac-12 Championship game (which will be on ESPN Radio), then they will have 10 of their 13 games on national radio. Compass Media will feature broadcasts from the ACC, the Pac-12, the Big 12 (including the Red River Rivalry), the Big East, the SEC, and the Big Ten. Here's the announced 2012 college football schedule. Dates and games are subject to change (should Dial Global steal one of their games).
