For years ESPN Radio has been the sole national radio provider for Major League Baseball with Sunday Night Baseball, some Saturday and holiday games, and every pitch of the World Series. On May 29 that changes. Compass Media Networks has signed an exclusive deal that will place 25 Angels games nationally on Compass Media Networks. It's being classified as the Angels Game of the Week on Compass Media Networks, though there are occasionally two or three games in the same week, and most of the games are at 9:45 PM Eastern Time, as only 9 of the games are road games, and 3 of those road games are against fellow California teams. It is unknown how many teams might follow this trend if it succeeds, but here is the schedule for the Angels Game of the Week on Compass Media Networks. Start times noted here are from the Eastern Time Zone. Announcers are still being assigned for the new broadcast.
