ESPN Radio releases full regular season NBA broadcast schedule

The Heat and the Bulls will kick off a 26-game slate of coverage for the NBA on ESPN Radio during the 2013-14 season. Currently the announcers haven't been posted yet, but you can probably expect a return from Dave Pasch, Kevin Calabro, and Marc Kestecher. Who the analyst will be remains the big question. ESPN Audio 2013-14 NBA Schedule Tips Off with Chicago Bulls at Defending NBA Champion Miami Heat

ESPN Audio’s 19th consecutive year of broadcasting NBA games will feature 27 regular-season games, tipping off on Opening Night, Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m. ET (broadcast begins at 7 p.m.) with an Eastern Conference Semifinal rematch between the defending NBA Champion Miami Heat – led by LeBron James and Dwyane Wade – hosting the Chicago Bulls – with the returning Derrick Rose.

ESPN Audio will also broadcast a Christmas Day doubleheader: the New York Knicks and Carmelo Anthony hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder and Kevin Durant at 2:30 p.m. (broadcast begins at 1:30 p.m.), immediately followed by the Miami Heat visiting the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant.

ESPN Audio will also be the exclusive national broadcast home of NBA All-Star events, including the 63rd All-Star Game from New Orleans, NBA playoffs and the NBA Finals.

All broadcasts will be available on ESPN Radio, ESPNRadio.com and the ESPN Radio mobile app.

• 27 broadcasts, including six doubleheaders – December 25, January 26, February 9, February 23, March 9, April 6;
• Exclusive national broadcaster of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, Western Conference Finals and Finals;
• Broadcast of the 2014 All-Star Game from New Orleans, as well as BBVA Rising Stars Challenge, Meet the All Stars and All-Star Saturday Night;
• Multiple appearances by the NBA’s biggest superstars, including LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Carmelo Anthony;
• 10 appearances by the defending champion Miami Heat; eight appearances from the Los Angeles Lakers; seven appearances each by the New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder;
• 2013 NBA Finals rematch on Jan. 26 – San Antonio Spurs at Miami Heat;
• Battle for LA on Apr. 6 – Los Angeles Lakers at Los Angeles Clippers, immediately      following the Miami at New York tilt.
