Grisham-Teddy July 5
Commentators:
Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas will be ringside describing the action for ESPN2 HD, while studio host Todd Grisham(@GrishamESPN) will be on site presenting the latest boxing news and highlights.Robert Sierra, filling in for Delvin Rodriguez, will call the fights with Pablo Viruega for ESPN Deportes’ Viernes de Combates (Friday Night Fights), while Leopoldo Gonzalez and Claudia Trejos will anchor the studio. Bilingual reporter Bernardo Osuna (@osunaespn) will present live interviews and reports for both shows.

Main Event:
Alvarez, a 2008 Colombian Olympian, who lives in Montreal, is coming off a third-round TKO win over Nicholson Poulard.

“Alvarez is a very, very disciplined kid who has all his focus on boxing,” Alvarez’s trainer Marc Ramsay said. “Green is a very gifted fighter, but with somebody who’s very competitive, like Alvarez, it’s going to be a tough night for him.”
Oklahoma’s Allan scored a seventh-round TKO win over Renan St. Juste in his last fight.
“I’m pretty sure Alvarez hasn’t fought a guy like Allan,” Green’s trainer Anthony Wilson said. “But this kid (Alvarez), he’s not an Olympian for nothing. He’s very strong. He has a great 1-2 and is kind of sneaky with the right hand.  Allan can’t stand in front of him. He’s got to do a lot of head movement, a lot of boxing.  If Allan does what he’s supposed to do and listens, we’ll win the fight.”
Co-Feature:
Friday’s 10-round co-feature will pit former Featherweight titlist Billy “The Kid” Dib (35-2, 21 KOs, The Ring no. 7) of Australia against Connecticut’s Mike “Machine Gun” Oliver (25-3, 8 KOs). Dib will look to rebound from a 12-round split decision loss against Evgeny Gradovich, while Oliver is looking to get back to his winning ways following a second-round knockout loss to former Junior Featherweight and Featherweight titlist Juan Manuel Lopez.
