Strongest comment: Fox Sports Howie Long, on Cam Newton, "I think the time Cam spent in New England will serve him well down the stretch here in Carolina. I think he learned a lot up in New England." 

Class act: Fox Sports noted the life and times of Sam Huff. Huff passed away Saturday. 

Strongest comment: CBS Sports Andrew Catalon, "With Derrick Henry injured, you could make a case that (Jonathan) Taylor is the best running back in football." 

Top info: Fox Sports Daryl Johnston noted that NFL rules prohibit more than one coach communicating with the QB. Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell will be instrumental in calling plays. 

Top nugget: CBS Sports Spero Dedes, on the Bills/Jets officiating crew led by referee Scott Novak, noted this crew throws the most flags in the NFL. 

Worst analysis: Fox Sports Mark Schlereth noted the short route was shutdown by Chase Young. Tom Brady then completed a 30-yard pass downfield for the Patriots biggest play of the game. 

Inside info: Fox Sports Adam Amin noted during a commercial break that a cart came out for injured DW Chase Young, but he refused. Coming back from commercial break production had a live shot of Young walking off the field. 

Best call: CBS Sports Spero Dedes, on a brutal Josh Allen sack, "Allen is lit up. Never felt or saw Jarrod Wilson coming with some nasty heat from the Jets." 

Best stat: CBS Sports Andrew Catalon told viewes Colts QB Carson Wentz already has more wins and TD's than last year with Philadelphia. 

Funniest line: CBS Sports James Lofton, on a hard hit on Colts QB Carson Wentz, "He just bounces back up like a Gumby." 

Best analysis: CBS Sports rules analyst Gene Steratore, on a Jets fumble by QB Mike White that looked to him to be an interception, "All you need is forward motion with a slight bit of control. I think he has that just for an instant." Steratore nailed it. the call was reversed. 

Best line: Brad Sham noted during the Cowboys second quarter scoring barrage, "The Broncos probably wish they could play the Falcons. About now they'll be looking at their phones and seeing the score 36-3 and wondering how they shut them (Dallas) down." 

Top observation: CBS Sports Andrew Catalon noted Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence doesn't get happy feet when the pocket collapses. He stands in there and makes a play. 

Best line: Kevin Burkhardt after the first half recap, "The crazy thing about broadcasting is all the Cowboys fans that hated us last week (vs. Denver) are loving us this week." 

Best line: Spero Dedes, on Bills QB Josh Allen, "Right now Josh Allen is operating with the precision of a surgeon on the pickup of the 49." 

Best line: CBS Sports Spero Dedes, as the Bills made the game 37-3, "The New York Jets are taking it on the chin against these Bills." 

Top nugget: CBS Sports Jay Feely told viewers he actually called Jets QB Mike White's first start at Western Kentucky. He threw for over 500 yards and 5 touchdown's. 

Funniest exchange: CBS Sports Andrew Catalon, on a Jaguars incompletion, "Gene, let the record show that you, me, and James all agree that's an incompletion. That's very rare for all three of us to be in agreement. 

Steratore quipped, "Anytime we are unanimous, let's move on and make it official." 

Top stat: CBS Sports Kevin Harlan noted the Saints haven't converted a 2-point conversion on their last 7 attempts dating back to the Drew Brees era. Their last conversion was in 2018. 

Best nugget: Fox Sports Kenny Albert noted that Panthers QB Cam Newton has fond memories of Glendale. He won a national championship in the stadium and started his first NFL game in the stadium. He threw for over 400 yards. 

Best stat: Fox Sports Kenny Albert told viewers that Panthers QB Cam Newton has more rushing touchdown's than any other QB in NFL history. 

Best graphic: Fox Sports Production Team showed pictures of Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer and the Chargers Brandon Staley playing QB in college. Zimmer played at Illinois State and Staley at Dayton. 

Fox Sports Kevin Kugler addressed allegations on Vikings running back Dalvin Cook that came out this week in a professional manner. he told viewers the allegation's and Cook's response. 

Best line: Fox Sports Mark Sanchez, on a Kirk Cousins completion to Justin Jefferson for 21 yards, "He just threw a strike through a carwash without getting wet." 

Top stat: Fox Sports Kevin Kugler noted 10 penalties were called in the second quarter of Vikings/Chargers. 7 were called on the Vikings and 3 on the Chargers. 

Best production: Fox Sports production team during the Vikings/Chargers game getting multiple angles of Larry Rountree III's touchdown dance. It was his first NFL touchdown. 

Top stat: CBS Sports Jim Nantz told viewers the 3-0 Seattle/Packers halftime score was the lowest scoring first half of any game this season. 

Best line: NBC Sports Al Michaels, on the referees coming out to check the measurement and see if it was a first down, "This is here we need Paul McGuire. He used to be 100% on this stuff."
