ESPNU to air Top 25 games of 2012

College Football continues to remain one of ESPN's top properties. As Media Days approach and as the 2013 season gets under 100 days til kickoff, ESPN wants to help you pass the time. Fans and ESPN Staff have voted on all the games that ESPN aired during the 2012 season, and they have come up with a list of the Top 25 games of 2012. ESPNU will have an 11-day marathon of games. SportsNation will give fans the chance to vote on the order of the Top 5 games of the year. Below is an ESPN Media Zone Press Release giving dates and times on when the games will air and how you can vote on the Top 5.

ESPN Ranks Top 25 College Football Games of 2012

ESPNU Marathon of Best Games in 2012; Fans To Choose Order of Top 5  

ESPN has ranked the Top 25 games in the 2012 season and fans will once again decide the order of the Top 5. ESPNU will air an 11-day marathon of games within the list starting with No. 25 on Wednesday, July 17, Nebraska vs. Northwestern. The order of the Top 5 games will be decided by fans through a SportsNation poll on ESPN.com. 

An ESPN stats & info team, led by ESPN college football research analyst Brad Edwards, determined No.25-6 to be as follows:

25.   Nebraska vs. Northwestern (game highlight)

24.   BYU vs. Utah (game highlight)

23.   Stanford vs. Arizona

22.   Ole Miss vs. LSU (post game presser – Les Miles)

21.   Texas vs. Oklahoma State

20.   North Carolina State vs. Miami (game highlight)

19.   Gildan New Mexico Bowl:  Nevada vs. Arizona  (game highlight)

18.   Oklahoma vs. West Virginia

17.   Florida State vs. North Carolina State (game highlight)

16.   Nebraska vs. Michigan State (game highlight)

15.   Oklahoma State vs. Oklahoma (game highlight)

14.   Cincinnati vs. Louisville

13.   Louisiana-Monroe vs. Arkansas (game highlight)

• Stanford vs. Oregon (game highlight)
• SEC Championship: Alabama vs. Georgia

Fans are invited to rank the games here, and compare their order to other voters. ESPNU will air America’s choice rankings of No. 5 & 4 on Saturday, July 27 and No. 1-3 on Sunday, July 28.
