MLB Network will produce 7 games in the month of August, and overall they will air games every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as baseball hits the final couple of months. I personally have to wonder if they're increasing the number of games in August because A) their ratings are up, B) they want to keep your eyes on MLB Network instead of NFL Network (which is about to start airing pre-season games), or C) there are just that many good games during the month. You be the judge for yourself. Here's the press release and the months schedule of live games on MLB Network.
