Sprint Cup begins on ESPN this weekend (also Nationwide & NHRA)

Most of the remaining NASCAR races will be on ESPN this year, with the exception of the Truck Series. Both the Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup classify ESPN as their home beginning this weekend. Here's the full breakdown of Motorsports as found on ESPN Media Zone.

ESPN Begins NASCAR Sprint Cup Coverage at Indianapolis
ESPN begins its telecasts of the final 17 races of the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season with the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 28. NASCAR Countdown airs at noon ET with the race’s green flag at 1:19 p.m. The race telecast is presented by Golden Corral. Also from Indianapolis, NASCAR Sprint Cup qualifying on Saturday, July 27, airs on ESPN at 2 p.m. and ESPN2 will air Sprint Cup practice Saturday at 9 a.m.

ESPN also will have a live telecast of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Indianapolis on Saturday. NASCAR Countdown airs at 4 p.m. with the green flag at 4:50 p.m. The race will be the last of four consecutive events that comprise the NASCAR Nationwide Series Dash 4 Cash, a bonus program that will award an extra $100,000 to the highest-finishing of four eligible drivers in each of the four designated races.

The NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series continues its annual three-race Western Swing with the NHRA Sonoma (Calif.) Nationals this weekend and coverage will air on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3. NASCAR Now Schedule
ESPN2’s daily NASCAR news and information program NASCAR Now will preview the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the one-hour edition airing Sunday, July 28, at 9 a.m. ET. Studio host Mike Massaro will be joined in the studio by ESPN NASCAR analyst Ricky Craven with reporters Marty Smith and Shannon Spake at the track.
