Southland Conference announces TV schedules for SLC TV, ESPN3, & Comcast Houston

The Southland Conference Television Network enters its 8th season this year with one of the fastest growing regional packages and more exposure than ever. This season 19 games will be produced by the conference and will air on the Southland Conference Television Network (SLC TV), ESPN3, and Comcast SportsNet Houston. This is the second year CSN Houston will air conference games, but it is the 1st year ESPN3 will air some exclusive games. With ESPN3 entering the picture, the double header TV weekends are done with for SLC TV, but 19 games (plus some road games on FSN) clearly shows how the conference continues to grow. Most people think the SLC will once again be the #2 FCS conference. Up first is the press release from the conference.

FRISCO, Texas – The Southland Conference will feature its largest television schedule in league history with 19 games scheduled for broadcast during the 2013 season, the conference announced Tuesday.
